Acrylic manufacturer registers with Acrylic Recycling Scheme

Luminati are pleased to announce that they have joined an exciting recycling scheme for Acrylic or Perspex.

Amari Plastics PLC, the UK’s leading distributor of sheet and profiled plastics have launched the Amari Recycling Initiative (ARI), which Luminati have registered for.

The UK market for plastics is one of the most demanding in Europe in terms of need for service and quality at a realistic price.

Recently another element has been added to the demands of customers base to ensure it helps customers take a responsible approach to the environmental impact of their scrap plastic products. This need has brought about the launch of the ARI.

Luminati takes a very serious and responsible view of the impact its business activities have on the environment, and the many different elements of what we all do which can help to improve the outlook for our planet.

Recycled cuts of plastics, acrylics or Perspex displays are sorted within the manufacturing environment, where all of our acrylic display products are made.

Most plastics and acrylic can be recycled and turned into some form of useful product such as mugs, key rings, injection moulded items and packaging materials. The more plastic waste that ARI can utilise, the less goes to landfill, and the less negative impact the plastic or acrylics wastage will have on the environment.
